The dog days of August are here! Pretty soon, summer will be winding down, the days will be shorter and the evenings cooler. Come on down to Sam’s Bar-B-Que this Tuesday from 6-9pm and join Cabin Fever in giving summer one last hurrah! The night will be warm and the bluegrass will be hot. We will be joined by our good friends Jerry Logan on bass and Hide Kawatsure on mandolin. Sam’s is a family-friendly venue with fine food and beverages. Reservations are recommended.

Cabin Fever at the Atlas Cafe – July 14, 2011

Dreary weather, chilly temperatures and no Giants game – what to do? As luck would have it, Cabin Fever is making a rare San Francisco appearance this Thursday at the Atlas Cafe. So come on in, order a sandwich and coffee, and enjoy a little bluegrass in climate-controlled comfort! We’ll be joined on this occasion by our friends Matt Kendall on mandolin and Suzanne Suwanda on bass. We play from 8-10pm.

On a more serious note, the Atlas has been hosting live bluegrass music in the city for over 10 years, but the economy has taken its toll and the continuation of this series is in doubt. So tell all your friends to come on down – let’s all show our support of live bluegrass music in San Francisco!

The summer solstice is almost here and it looks like Mother Nature has finally gotten the memo! How better to celebrate the end of the dreary weather and the arrival of those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer than with an evening of bluegrass tomfoolery at Sam’s with Cabin Fever. Larry has decided to celebrate by absconding to Idaho, but never fear, Yvonne and Bryan have lined up some special guests to join in for what promises to be a fun-filled evening. Sam’s is family-friendly and has some of the best bar-b-que this side of the Mississippi, so bring the kids, have dinner and stay until they kick us out.

Specials guests joining in this week are: Jerry Logan (bass and vocals), Dave Magram (banjo), and Matt Kendall (mandolin and vocals).
